Dre Boogs, originally from Boston, MA. grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He's been a music fanatic since he was a toddler; influenced by Hip Hop, Dancehall, R&B, & Electronica.

Dre got on the turntables for the first time in 5th grade while living in Portmore, Jamaica (right outside of Kingston.) Under the influence of different sound systems (Jamaican DJ crews) he started learning how to rock parties by ear but wouldn't be able to do parties until years later.

After getting his first pair of 1200's at 16, Dre devoted most of his free time studying the art of the mix...with no one physically around to teach him, he learned by ear listening to the legendary mix show DJ's of San Francisco radio.

After graduating from high school, Dre moved to the East Bay to Oakland, where he got his first job in radio doing promotions at KMEL in San Francisco. It was at KMEL that Dre was able to have his mix tapes personally scrutinized by the same DJ's he look up to and learned how to carve his own niche, not to mention learning how to have thick skin in the business.

Dre Boogs left the Bay Area after accepting an Alumni Scholarship to The University of Arkansas' Walton College of Business to study Marketing Management. While in Arkansas, Dre followed the footsteps of his influences and started the first ever local mix show in the market (Fayetteville, AR) which flourished. Not being one to be complacent, Dre was bitten by the production bug and started doing remixes, mashups, and blends for personal use which led to doing work for different DJ's nationwide.

In late 2005, Dre was invited to join The Shadyville DJ's, a DJ coalition founded by critically acclaimed DJ Whoo Kid (50 Cent's DJ). This was also the same year Dre founded Boogie Mix Radio, a self syndicated 4 hour mix show sent out to stations across the U.S. If that wasn't enough, Dre was also tapped to get into rotation with fellow Shadyville DJ's on Eminem's Shade 45 on Sirius/XM satellite radio during G-Unit Radio on Saturdays.

Dre Boogs has entertained crowds ranging from Spring Break in Cancun, Disney World, to the stage opening up for T.I. Whether it's Hip Hop, Electronica, Old School or his sultry Slow Jam mixtapes, Dre Boogs pays attention to the crowd and promoters and artists pay attention to him. Dre now lives in NY{module Stalker}C and is working feverishly to expand on what he has built.
